Brand: Laboratory Testing Instruments
The Bursting Strength Tester Analogue is a dial-type testing instrument designed to measure the bursting strength and performance of materials. It helps evaluate the strength and durability of paper, cardboard, and packaging materials for quality control and testing applications.
Working Principle of Bursting Strength Tester Analogue
The Bursting Strength Tester Analogue helps manufacturers calculate the bursting factor of corrugated boxes and evaluate the strength of packaging materials.
The instrument measures the force required to rupture a test specimen. Bursting strength is expressed in kg/cm² and is measured by applying hydraulic pressure through a rubber diaphragm against the specimen until it bursts. The maximum pressure required to rupture the material is indicated on the dial.
Applications of Bursting Strength Tester Analogue
Paperboards
Corrugated boards and boxes
Industrial fabrics and solid fibreboards
Filter cloth
Plastic films
Foils
Sheets
Applicable Test Standards
ASTM D3786-01
ASTM D3786-80A
IS 1060 (Indian Standard)
